❓ What is a Clubhouse?
Clubhouses are member-led, sponsor-free, confidential, virtual small-group discussions amongst similarly situated peers. The goals are to connect with your closest peers who share a common interest, to build relationships, to share perspectives, and to solve tactical problems together.
Clubhouses are unique in that they are highly participative - come prepared to contribute, ask questions, and share your own thinking. Your peers want to learn from you!
Like all L Suite events, Clubhouses operate under the Chatham House Rule. This ensures an open conversation in a safe and trusted environment.
🟢 Structure: Special Interest Groups, 45 minutes, Small Group Discussion 🟢
- Clubhouses are organized by Special Interest Groups. A member-volunteer from the Special Interest Group will facilitate the Clubhouse discussion, and the L Suite staff will handle all logistics, calendaring, and tech.
- Once a Special Interest Group reaches critical mass (~100 member opt-ins), a Clubhouse will be scheduled by the L Suite team. If it’s popular, we’ll keep it going once per quarter. If there’s interest in an ad-hoc “of the moment” Clubhouse, we can do that too!

- Participation is democratized, making our Clubhouse program truly member-driven and conversation-based.
- Our Clubhouse motto is “connection over content” - this means no slides or dense content presentations, but yes to active discussion and collaborative problem-solving.
🟢 Content: Crowdsourced Topics that are Relevant & Timely 🟢
- Topics for each Clubhouse will be crowdsourced directly from members. These can be work-related challenges in a broad sense (managing a legal team, how to get buy-in from CEO) OR a very tactical problem related to your day to day work (tools, policies, regulation, et al). Discussion starters will be generated collaboratively with the member-facilitator(s).
